The 9.3x62 mm is considered comparable to the fabled .375 H&H. The concept of that much power in a pump gun is really intriguing. The recoil might be more than from the .35 Whelen for which the Model 7600 is regularly chambered, but it would not be oppressively so.
I like the idea that you can recyle the action without removing your trigger hand from the grip of the rifle, unlike with a bolt action. Cycling the pump would be the least disruptive of maintaining a continuous sight picture of any rifle except the semi-auto.
As a practical matter, I would probably go with the .35 Whelen for reasons of cost and ammo availability. Nevertheless, a pump in 9.3 x62 mm is awesome to contemplate.
