Sportster .22LR vs. Youth Model: Differences?
« on: March 12, 2005, 11:28:37 AM »
Guys,

I’ve been trying like crazy to find a Sportster .22LR for my son.  Wal Mart says their warehouse/distributers are all out, and all the local gun shops say the same thing.

I’m to the point that I’m thinking about getting the youth model, and then ordering a a regular monte carlo stock (Synthetic) for it.  If I did this, would the gun then be the same as a regular Sportster .22LR?  Or are there more differences in the two guns than just the stock?

Thanks

The 2 guns are identical with the exception of the buttstock. No other differences at all.
I did the same thing myself just recently....<><....
