Just found out today that I get three weeks vacation this year. Lets see one week for deer hunting, one week with the wife (maybe a vacation around springfield and bass pro shops :) )  and one week prairie dogen. This is looking better all the time.

I'm firm in OK guys.  It's 433.3 miles from my front door to Guymon, so I'm ready to go.  Keep us posted on dates and time and such.

Well I guess I better vote here too. I haven't even been reading these threads because the last I knew it was going to be in WY or Dakota, but since it looks like it's gonna be here in OK, I'll vote and say a definite maybe. Like the others, a lot depends on the dates, have been wanting to get up to Wlscott's part of the state though and check out the Big Mulie country. I think I'll bring my 30-30 and show everybody up  :-D . Yea right, I'll be lucky to chunk one probably.............but this I do know for sure.........we're gonna "talk loud and draw a crowd". Hope I get to come.

Digger - I'll be in on that little caravan you're planning with you and marv and Deadeye if I get to go. Maybe we could invite two bellies too, haven't heard much from him lately tho.

:? Better check your regulations before shooting dogs in OK. Had a couple of buddies arrested and fined a while back.Game Ranger said the black-tailed prairie-dog is a protected species. Maybe just in this part of the state, not sure.  I've looked on the ODWC website and could'nt find anything about PDs. I guess the logical thing to do is to make a phone call, huh.  There is a dog-town of about 500 acres 7 miles from here. Used to shootem with the .270 and .308 to get ready for deer season.
Please write me off of GB outdoors, I do not want to be a part of it any more.

Deactivated as requested.

Good point; they're protected here in AZ, but only for part of the year. "Gunnison's" PD's you can shoot here any time of year. Wish I were closer; I'd love to go!

Well just checked mileage to guymon and it will be a 957 mile drive so it looks doable for a weeks vacation. Be a good thing to break in this little hornet good on prairie dogs.

Do you have to use a Handi Rifle?
I have a Kimber of Oregon .30/06 Super American and a Classic M-82 in .22 LR,lots of ammo too.
Also anyone going through Virginia to get there?I'm thinking I could bum a ride if I get to go and help out on costs.
