Jeep Wrangler or Cherokee
« on: August 30, 2005, 10:21:52 AM »
I have narrowed my choices down to these two Jeeps for use around the hunting lease, doing some 4-wheeling, and running down to the hardware store- won't be a daily driver. Considering the Cherokee w/ FI or a YJ. I am learning that Cherokees are solid and reliable but don't know much about the YJ. Advice or suggestions?

Buy the Cherokee and don't look back. They will go anywhere you need to go, good on gas, and a lot of room for your gear.

Had a 4x4 Cherokee and could not get it stuck. It actually better traction than my last 3 pickup because the gas tank was located in the middle of the rear tires. Bought a 2 wheel drive for the wife also then passed it down to my daughter. Very reliable engine.
