I was reading through outdoor life and they reviewed the 77VT and found a flaw in the barrel has anyone experienced this issue???
mine does not have this difficulty and shoots supurbly.
Also, my 77VT in .223 is having ejection issues, on occasion the case remains attached to the bolt head even after being drawn fully to the rear, and must be pushed forward and pulled again to eject.
What could be causing this issue? Is it possible for the spring on the ejector to be weak, and therefore not coming up before it reaches fully rearward and therefore not be in posistion to eject the shell?
Last issue, the comb of my stock extends forwards uncomfortably into the wrist of the stock. Has anyone reshaped theirs as described in the outdoor life article? If so how did you refinish the reshaped portion and what tool did you use? Thanks.
