Hey guys...
Still looking around at bolt rifles...and have run across a like new blued Browning A-Bolt European edition in 7MM Magnum...it's a 26" barrel with the Boss system on it...it has a real nice walnut stock on it...and has the butter knife bolt handle....it's a real beaut and under $600...
I've been kicking around calibers and guns for the last 2 weeks and have kinda settled on a couple totally different models...this Browning... and a Weatherby Fiber Mark in 270 Weatherby...
I very familiar with the 270 Weatherby...but know practicly nothing about the 7MM mag...other than the fact it's a 280 on steriods...
I don't think I'll be hunting anything larger than moose with them...and certainly won't purposely go hunting any large bears with them...so I should be ok...
Any of you guys have and use these calibers and rifles? what your thoughts and opinions on them...
