Contender Rear Sight Question

I have a 21" factory Contender barrel in .22LR, and am looking for the thread size for the rear sight holes so I can come up with some plug screws for them.  Anyone know?  Also, for this barrel, can anyone tell me what rear sight works for the front blade?  I am very new to Contenders and am under the impression that there are numerous varaitions in the sights on these.  If it helps, this is a standard weight T/C barrel, 21" long, marked:  THOMPSON : CENTER ARMS       22 LR
                          ROCHESTER,  N  H        
              on the left side of the barrel just above and at the forward edge of the forearm.

   The frame is an easy open , serial #  3990xx  (by the way, how old is this thing?)

The frame was made in 1992  but I'm unsure of the thread size. I think it's 6/40 but someone else here could be more positive.

I believe it's 6x48.

The thread sight size for a contender is 6-48. A 21 inch 22LR rear sight has two sights given a low or med with a #8 front front blade 0.490 inches. If you will give me your mailing address I will mail you 4 each plug screws for the contender barrel. The web sight TCA monitor is trying to get some of these things on the webb site. Twyman
