I was thinking of getting a rossi 45 colt.  CDNN has a pretty good price on them.  I think it might be a good brush gun.  What do you guys think.  Please give me any info yall have, good, bad or indifferent!!

Thanks,

I have a 20 inch carbine precrossbolt safety. The actions are a little rough and the triggers heavy  but nothing that can't be slicked up. So far it's the best little brush gun I have ever owned. It is light, easy to carry and the 92 action is strong enough to take T - REX loads down to cowboy loads.
While it will take heavy loads I don't find them necessary for deer.
On the accuraccy side, I got a good one. The chamber is good and it will shoot even the cheep mag techs under 2 inches at 50 and with hand loads I can get MOA with several different loads and a couple that are probably more accurate than me.
The stock as stated are some real soft wood and get beat up easily and the biggest drawback is scope mounting is not easily done if desired.
