300 Whisper?

Greetings,

I saw a barrel listed on Ebay in "300 Whisper". I am not familiar with this one. Does anyone have one of these? What is it useful for?

300 Whisper is a cartridge designed by SSK Industries for tactical and hunting purposes.

It is a 221 Fireball case necked up to 30cal.  AKA 300/221fb  Dies are MUCH cheaper from Redding!!!

Both sub sonic and super sonic loads perform well.  Ballistics similar to 7.62x39.  bullet weights from 125gr-240gr

I have one for the Contender in 16"....no game shot...just paper.  Unfortunately nothing too impressive.  Most between 1.5MOA and .75MOA.  I am still working on loads.
