!#&$ Gun Shows
« on: January 22, 2005, 10:52:09 AM »
Well I just got back from a local gun show and it was much different that the normal shows I'm used to.  This one actually had some good stuff.  Too good if you know what I mean.

Well I bought a 760 in 300 Savage.  Nice looking and out the door at $300 isn't bad (I hope  )  Had the original clip and was very solid when cycling the action.  Bore seemed good from what I could tell.  From all I could see is that it just needs a good old fashion cleaning.

Couldn't pass on this one since I'm been looking for one ever since I found out they made one.  (thanks to this site).

So because of this site I'm now in trouble with the wife again...then again it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Let me know what you think about the price and what I've got.

Thanks,

Josh
My wife once made the mistake of telling me "all of your guns look alike"...No, I've had this gun for a long time! LOL

oliverstacy, sounds like you did pretty good especially when you look at the prices on the auction sites. I recently sold my 300 Savage (baby on the way) and I have 3 extra clips in very good condition. They are fairly hard to find. Drop me a PM if your interested.
Ya, this site has gotten me into trouble with the wife on more than one occasion also
Expect it when you least expect it
