Well guys, it looks like it's Silver Bullet time.  They work on witches, vampires and werewolves (there wolves - lol).  So, for you bullet casters, let's get some old silver and cast up some Lone Rangers - if you're really worried 'bout dem flyin' things, go to your local Catholic Church and get some Holy Water to load into a hollow-point and cover it with candle wax.  Oughta work................  (maybe).  Mikey

Two Marines in Vietnam (I forget what province, but it was nowhere near Saigon) were pulling guard duty in the usual defensive position (foxhole).  They reported that they noticed something at about tree-top level at about 0300 with an eerie "black" glow to it.  when it passed approximately20-30 feet over their heads they said it was a woman that was completely black with black eyes and had black fur or down covering it's body.  It had wings that were bat like (covered with a black skin) and made no noise whle moving over head.  They reported the that the entity had an "evil" look about it.  That was from a book that I have in my library...I will look up the title if anyone is interested....

Unexplained!   by Jerome Clark.  This book has other flying humanoid stories in it.  The reason I bought it was for the anomolous weather phenomena and falls from the sky.  There is some truly weird stuff in this book.

HOW ABOUT SOME BREW
« Reply #19 on: December 05, 2004, 03:52:22 PM »
Brew me up one of those books, would like to see it myself.  I live West of Bartlesville, so maybe we can meet up some where to check out the book.  Lets hope its not 3 in the morning in a dark alley with a full moon.  If so, then I will load up my guns with a silver bullet loaded with holy water from the local church.  Thanks for the advice.  So how is the deer hunting in your neck of the woods?

Howdy jbtazgrabber :D
We did OK, but nothing to brag about, we harvested 6 deer, 4 does and 2 bucks. but it was a hard hunt. I guess however we did better than a lot of the other areas around the state. there was four of us hunting.
  thanks for asking.
