Remington

Remove stock, trigger, scope & mounts, and send it to Remington in Ilion. They will install a new bolt. You do not need to send the stock, that's just more expense. Trigger removal is to keep your adjustment intact. I lost a $100.00 rework on a trigger this way, when they replaced it with a new one. Remington WILL NOT return any old parts.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Bug.

bolts as a rule need to go back to the factory to be replaced, Years ago it was the practice to remove the bolts out of the rifles to discourage theft of the rifle and it is still a good idea as theft is on the rise. :D   JIM

I read and then re-read your post a couple times and I come to the question.........What happened to your bolt?  Why don't you have it?
