Managed Recoil Ammunition
« on: November 02, 2004, 05:53:08 PM »
Just tried out a box of Remingtons Managed Recoil Ammunition in my old 760. To say the least WOW!!!!, I normally shoot 165 grain PSP Core Locs but this new 125 grain is the cats meow!!.  My old Rem ihas always been a pleasure to shoot but after a few mags the old shoulder stars to get sore. A friend of mine hande me a few and I loaded them up and then went to Shooters Den in Albuquerque to buy some. Now that old 760 is FUN!!!, Not that it hasn't been but with @ 40% less felt recoil I can shoot all day with my firends who have autoloaders. (SKS, AR's etc) And the best part I can still reach out a lot farther than they can. For us older shooters I would say give it a try. At the very least you would have  20 rounds of nice Remington brass to reload!!

Edgewood,
I also have tried out both remington's managed recoil ammo and federals reduced recoil ammo.  Remington went with the 125 gr bullet and federal with the 170 gr.  Both are fun to shoot.
