I have also joined the ranks of the addicted. Picked up a new 209 x 50, blue/ hardwood camo last week. Sighted it in Friday but haven't really had the chance to play with it much. Going to top it with a Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 as soon as I get the scope base. Already made plans to get a 7mm-08 barrel in January and top it off with a Monarch UCC. I have a feeling I'm in for a long, hard road.

I have an s.s. 7mm-08 barrel and a bp 50 cal s.s. barrel for my Encore.I cant say enough about how happy I am with both of em.I got the gun for my 12 yo boy this year and I know I'll want to use it too.Even though the barrels are a little pricey they are worth it I think.I plan on buying a 223 or 22-250 barrel next.Good luck and good shootin

I have a Contender with a .22 barrel and a 7x30 Waters barrel. And last week I bought an Encore rifle with a .35 Whelen barrel. And I am just getting started.
