Found my perfect 44 mag.

Currently, I am without 44 magnum....This sound terrible but there is still one in the house.  It is the SRH that I gave my son for graduation.

This past year I acquired a fairly rare 5 inch 610, this is the original year for the gun and it has the firing pin in the hammer and no Democrat lock on frame (henceforth refereed to as the ugly zit).  This gun is simply wonderful!  With full underlug barrel and 5 inch barrel it balances perfect for me and with wonderful sight picture.   I have been searching for a 44 with same features.

Well I found my 629 classic with full underlug firing pin in hammer and no ugly zit on Guns America today, sealed the deal and the money is in the mail...now the wait.   Love those Smith and Wessons.

Need leather and maybe combat grips.  The wait may do me in...guess I will roll up some ammo.

Fred - you are gonna like that one, for sure.  The last time I saw one of those it had the longer 8" bbl but man, with that full underlug it just fit my hand and balanced so nicely I really wanted it - but, since I only shoot one at a time, my second one languishes in its original factory box and anything newer might just suffer the same fate.  I couldn't do that to a Smith and Wesson but dang, a man's got only two hands (lololol).  Mikey.
