Winchester Model 100 Trigger
« on: August 15, 2004, 04:08:26 AM »
Last month, I adjusted the triggers on 3 of my Weatherby's and on the NEF Handi Rifle.   Have gotten them tuned to 2 1/2 pounds of pull, no creep and no over-travel.    I set the scope on the Model 100 yesterday and after shooting the other rifles the 100 seems to have a 10 lbs trigger with a mile of creep and 2 miles of over-travel.  Highly unacceptable.   I am gonna tear into it today and see if I can get some of that fixed.

If anyone has done this before on a Model 100, would like to hear from you.

  Thanks

Did you work over the model 100 trigger?  If so, how did it go?  I have a model 88 lever action and it has the same terrible trigger problem.  Since they appear to be similar any tricks you can give would be appreciated.
