Both are new guns.. Going to try and take a deer with each of them.  I like the feel of that browning so much better than the 260, but I feel comfortable with them both.  Depends on which stand I sit at, really.  If I am out over the field, I might give the 260 a try.  In that brush, though, I think the 06 would be my best bet.  We have about 10 stands set up this year, should be plenty to choose from.  My partner in crime is up there right now placing a couple more stands.  Said the genetics look good this year, and a good buck to doe ratio from what he has seen.  Get to stay up the full 9 days this year.. WOO-HOOOO!  Should be a good year.  Need to head back to the range next week and get them fine tuned and see if I can't get in some practice freehand.

Where do you shoot at?  Where do you hunt?  And why to you think the '06 would be better in the brush?

I shoot at Oakdale Gun Club in Oakdale, MN or at the public range in Menomonie, WI.  I hunt up near the Canada MN border.  Where in MN are you?
