We just got cleaned up(had to shower) from our teal hunt.
What a day my son got his first ducks(just got hunter Ed this year) and boy did he have a blast. Got a big hug after his first duck(6:58am cst) daddy was proud  and so was grandpa
We all had loads of ducks to shoot at but we did alot of missing(them teal are fast)but we all got our limit 4 each. I can proudly say that my son got all 4 of his teal.
Got back to the truck and MR. Game Officer was waiting. He was realy cool about my boys first duck hunt and walked him threw being checked. He gave the officer his Hunters ED card then checked his shotgun for plug and his shells for steal shot. As he was checking my son he was asking questions and my son did a great job answering them. The officer was very impressed.
Three generations hunting together and enjoying the morning and the moment. It may sound wierd or dumb but that was just like my first duck hunt all over. Dad felt the same way its a great fealing to pass on the hunting tradition.
I will stop babling on just wanted to share our hunt with a croud of people who understand what I'm talking about.
