In-Lines....
« on: September 13, 2004, 12:19:19 PM »
Has anyone ever tried the in-line buzz baits?  I find them easier to use around tules and brush than "clothespin" type buzz baits.  Just wondering how other felt about them.  Tight lines to all.  Lawdog

I like to think there is a time and place for everything.  In-line spinners are great some of the time, but I get hung up more often than when using "safety pin" type baits.  I like to completly fish an area , I start on the outsides of a brush pile, work it from every angle, if I don't get bit, I throw right in the middle of the pile.  After a while you get in tune with the bait and start cranking as it hits the water, this will prevent a lot of hang ups.  Other times you trow it into a pile of brush and yo-yo the bait trying to get em to hit.  I often fish a spinner bait just like fishing a Texas rigged worm..............you can't do that with most in-lines.

I think I need to clarify that the in-lines I am talking about do not have treble hooks but one rigid hook that rides just like "safety pin" spinners/buzzbaits, point up.  They don’t hang up like the ones with treble hooks do.  Tight lines to all.  Lawdog
