Extra (replacement) stock for H&R Buffalo Classic .45-70

I want to get and extra stock made up for my rifle for hunting season with a Limb-Saver recoil pad, maybe a half inch shorter overall.  I had one place spotted but they disappeared and the custom stock maker from the link above seems to be one of those "you can't get there from here" places.  It should be a relatively simple straight forward matter, though it hasn't been so far.  Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Buy a Buff-Classic buttstock from H&R, cut it down to a straight (non-curved) configuration where it fits against your shoulder to the length you need and add the recoil pad you want to meet your length of pull requirements. Simple straightforward answer to the problem....<><.... :grin:
