I just got off of the phone with taurus and asked them what the MSRP is for their 500 raging bull. They said $899. Do you think its going to be worth getting?

I have never seen personally a low quality RB, and I have seen/handled well in excess of 50 different ones. I have heard people(mostly people who have a grudge against Taurus for whatever reason) say they have seen poor examples, but that is neither here nor there.
Based on what I have seen, yeah that sounds about right for msrp.

were it me and if i had to have one,  i would wait a year and pick up one used.  i am willing to bet a guy will be  able to find one in a year for just over 400.  when they first come out they are high and after a while they come down.  just wait until the frenzy wears off.  when the bulls came out i had to have a casull.  so i paid my 625 and ordered my bull.  a few years later i saw the dealer had a slightly used 480 for 480.  and i bet i could have gotten it a little cheaper.   my point is that if you can wait your pennies will go futher.  but then, the itching might just drive you nuts. :)
