My sister and her husband live a rural area near Fairbanks Ak.
It seems that with all the forest fires around there, the bears are coming out of the woods and being a nuisance.
They have been regularly bothered by moose, but bears are not so common...
Larry, a minor league comedian, was with my sister to a sporting goods store recently.
My sister, still concerned with the bear problem and knowing Larry was planning a fishing trip to Valdez; implored him to delay the trip, at least until the "bear problem" was resolved...
Larry walked her over to the paintball section and pointed out some of the guns...
Then he said..." Now Dear; I'll buy you one of these paintball guns; if a bear bothers you, shoot it with the paintball gun. I'll get THAT bear when I come home!!!
You've got to know Larry...
PS..He did set her up with a heavy rifle or shotgun (slugs) to carry to and from the truck barn.
