Double barreled 20 gauges
« on: September 21, 2004, 09:26:48 AM »
I have wanted a bouble barreled 20 gauge for years and years. I've had my eye on a Savage Arms/Stevens model 411 with the screw in chokes and chrome lined bores. Shop wants $363.75 for it new. Seem like a good deal?
I see they have Norinco doubles for sale. Made in China I would expect. Anybody ever bought one of these things? Anybody ever buy any kind of Norinco? Dealer knew next to nothing about them...

You can also get a nice Stroeger Arms (Brazil) double for around 250.

look at some older nitro steel 16 gauges if you reload..  a lot more gun for the money.  lefever side by sides  were made by ithica in the 1920s and 1930s or therre about.. i have one in 12 and its very nice.. chokes are fixed but exceptional.  they run about 250 dollars if you can find them..  good luck dave..
