Can a Marlin 1894C 357 mag. be converted to a "pistol grip" stock? I want to get a rifle in 357 mag. but I'd rather have a pistol grip stock if possible!

I have both styles, and the rear tangs on the receivers are different.  You could have them modified, but it's not a slip-on conversion.

Sorry!

I think you can buy the winchester legacy for the pistol grip, but I have heard that the action is less desirable (long)...don't know for sure.
I too wish marlin did a pistol grip for the 1894c, hopefully by the time I can afford one I will have found away to solve that problem.
