What are the strongest made scope mounts and rings one can buy today? Don't just tout what you already have, tell me the set you would most like to have.

Talleys are the best----and not only do I have them---I want them too.

I'd have to probably agree, although the Leupold dual dovtails and the Wanre Maximas are also super strong too.

My only gripe with Talley is that they don't make their rings and bases in a stainless finish.

I bought my son a set of Warne Maxima rings and bases. He's sending them back because of the weight. Anything that heavy has to be strong. The screws for attaching the bases to the rifle have to be the weak point. Silver solder them to the recieiver and you could drive spikes with them. :wink:
