Does anyone know if NEF makes a rifled 410 slug barrel?

From every thing I have seen the answear is no ,but I have shot some Brenneke fosrter style slugs out of my 20" 410 with very good accuracy out to about 35yrds I don't imagine it has to much power left after that.Kurt

They cost as much as a whole gun though, so I am going to look into getting an entire package.  They are 20" 45/410 with removeable choke just like a Contender.  But.....the NEF has a lot more 'meat' around the chamber, which is exactly what I need.  It is for a project rifle.

Robert,
If you want a project rifle in .410 try mine. I took a M-44 Russian action, put on a Douglas Primeium barrel in .411 bore and chambered for 2 1/2 in .410 cases. I load 243 grn. hard cast gas checked bullets in it and with plastic cases I can push them to the same velosity that the Federal 3 in. pushed a 109 grn. slug., about 1,750 fps. My big problem is that I`m loading a full case of R-22 powder and they become eratic in cold weather. I`m going to get some brass case so that I can crimp the bullet and use a faster burn rate of powder. I should have no trouble getting at least 2,500 fps. and am hopeing for 3,000 fps. I should be able to get .45-70 knock down power with it.  8)

I just wanted to know how this turned out?  Where did the brass come from and also where did load data come from?  I have a contender that would be interesting for this project.

Here is an interesting thread on making brass cases for the .410 from .303 brass:
