It is according to what's in season.I shoot doves in Sept,tree rats and rabbits in Oct.,deer from Nov thru Jan.,and turks in Spring season,mid March thru Apr...............Rick

I have a  12ga Remington 870 Express that I use for doves in September and once squirrel season starts in early October, I use it on bushytails until enough leaves are off the trees to use a 22lr.
