restoreing a mod. 60
« on: April 17, 2004, 02:16:09 PM »
i have a glenfield marlin .22 i am restoreing. i striped the old finish and redid it with casey Tru-oil [nine coats] and rubed it out with pumice stone.[the stock suprised we with butifull birds eye maple]. i orderd acraglas, aluminum black and a blueing kit.the acraglas is for the poor inleting job, that is so loose its amazing. the aluminum black is for the the reciever that is scrached really bad. the blueing is fairly thin so i'm going to reblue the barrel and tube mag. the rifleing is in perfect shaoe, the action works great and is in good shape.
I've got to many but never enough!!!!
