I bought a 1895 CB 45/70 this week and had some Chey Cast 405's already loaded for another gun so test fired these....the are .458 and shot fine, before  I start ordering more I was curious if anyone has slugged these guns and what diameter you have come up with......

thanks,
charlie

Averages are nice, but the best idea is to slugs your own and see what it is.  Yours might be the first one broached with a button, or it could have been the last.  There WILL be a difference.  See the nearby post for some great slugging advice.
