What forend do I need
« on: June 14, 2004, 09:20:58 AM »
All,

Just picked up a heavy 26" 220 Swift barrel and was wondering what forend I will need, since the regular 24" forend doesn't work with the heavy barrels.  I currently have a 209x50 blued with composite forend and butt stock.  Is there a composite forend that fits the heavy's?  If there was a camo forend available I'd hate to have an excuse to go with that.  Wanted to switch the muzzle loader over to the camo stock for some time now.   I believe that once you purchase a forend that accepts the heavy barrels, it would also work with the 24" standard barrels...is this correct?   Let me know the stock #'s if you know them.

Thanks,

Josh  :-)

7708 in black composite, 7701 in camo.  I think this will fix you up.

I ended up getting #7708, the composite forend last night at Cabela's.  Got it home and it fit like a glove.   Thanks again for all the help. :P
