...Has anyone ever heard of an aftermarket choke that extends longer than the barrel, and is knurled so it can be removed without a stupid key?
In my opinion, the current set-up is dangerous. How many of us have accidently fired a jacketed 45 slug through the choke? It would be SO EASY to design a choke that is external and clearly visible at a glance whether the choke is in or not. All it would have to be is 3/4" longer and have a knurled surface.
