Concerning their refusal to sign on the big, beautiful bill. A few reasons..
1) So far they can't sign bill, because their illegal alien "constituents" would be angry.
2) with polls leaning toward Reps, they must sign soon, to keep their old base, composed of "gimmies".
3) If they sign on, and no $$ appropriated for the illegals...some illegals start back to where they came from. ( MAGA would like that)
4) The joker in the game..Hurricane Melissa. If she sweeps up to hit our east coast anywhere, costly hope will be required. The coasts are traditionally lean blue,
so any holdup of funds by their refusal to help.. will be painful for them.
5) Trump busy laying off "non essential" govt employees.. If the holdout continues past a certain date, which is drawing nearer, they will be terminated, that's about
700,000 being paid on average, six figures. (Some indicate a 61 day deadline..I have no info on that)
Looks like they have to cave soon. I'm guessing they are holding until after election day coming, not wanting to irk the wokies before then.
