More devastation for Texas
« on: July 06, 2025, 04:11:08 AM »
Another tragic loss of children in Texas. I can't imagine the loss these people are going through. I lost my only child to cancer last year and the loneliness still lingers with my wife and me. What a horrible way to start a 4th of July. Heartbreaking.

As of this morning, 50+ confirmed dead, 27 campers missing, and 25 little girls from a church camp missing. The Guadalupe River rose 27 feet in 45 minutes.
One young girl rescued from a tree 20 miles down stream said her and her family went into the water at about 4:00 am, and she was rescued at about 8:45 am.
Many likely woke up in the water, but it was too late.

I've lived in several places in Texas where water has come up quick but never like it did in Kerrville. Have a good friend that lives there on top of hill overlooking the river. He told me he never seen nothing like it. Many a heart broken family today.

I grew up in north central Texas and watched water go over the spillway at Lake Texoma 3 different times taking out the bridge and roads.
Launched boats at McDonalds in Gainesville TX when it flooded in early 80s, but nuthin like Kerrville and the Guadalupe River.

Also there are some liberals on line who are gleeful about this flood in Texas… A tragedy no parent should suffer is the loss of a child.

Some are saying they deserve it for voting for President Trump. As I understand it, there is no understanding the insane… Butt, rest assured, there is a cure.

Trump signed an emergency order for FEMA to gear up and go to Texas and help. Late last night or early this morning. Biden would still be trying to figure out what flavor ice cream cone he wanted. Praying for them, hoping for the best.

That is... well... just insane!  >:(  Let me know if you need any help distributing the cure.  ::)

As I understand it, those were ones able to get away from the rising water.  So many others are still missing.  Those babies did nothing to deserve that.  What kind of mind could think otherwise.

The death toll is now beyond 80, with dozens still missing, including the 25 little girls from Mystic Christian Camp.
With the young woman rescued 20 miles down stream from where she went into the water gives a staggering idea of the search and rescue area.

Here are some twitter posts from sick people.  Its had to imagine that people would say these things, let alone think it. This is the democratic party base, and how they think. Their hatred is beyond imaginable.

Ruh-roh Texas. Whatcha gonna do. There is no FEMA to pick up your bootstrap. They gave it all to ice.

Texas deserves every flood God has spoken, and it hates Texas.

Cry harder, Texas deserves it.

The people in Texas voted for government services controlled by Trump and Abbott. That is exactly what they are getting.
Its not awful, its what Texas deserves.

Good I'm glad! Did it take Rogan with it too? I can only hope. Texas deserves it. Its gods will of course. Thats what God would have wanted, Right republicans? HaHaHaHa my empathy for these red neck reject states is zero. So f---em. I hope more comes. Lets start the hurricanes.

Here was Abbotts chance to look intelligent. Instead he starts by invoking God. God may not exist, and if He does, he sent the flooding, and if there's any place that deserves it. Its hellhole Texas.

Yes, Sir, plenty of hate going around. I even saw where Trump was being blamed for the downpour. Rediculous.

Well, Texas is a big state and with regard to these haters can take care of itself.

I'm old, but I ain't dead and I still have one punch left in me for any piece of crap that says their glad about it or these children deserved it!   >:(  And this disgust from the guy who keeps saying he doesn't take anything seriously!  ::)  I guess everybody has their limits.  :-\
