Walmart Heiress Funding LA Riots
« on: June 10, 2025, 02:45:27 PM »
Well, it seems Walmart heiress Christy Walton supports illegal criminals, and that kalifornia belongs to Mexico. She is against law and order, and is anti American. Sam shoulda smothered her at birth.

Read that too. Got a Walmart about 4 miles from me. Haven't been in it for over 3 years. I'll drive 20 miles and pay more before ever going there.

Rarely go to ours, nothing in there I can’t get somewhere else. Hate going in there actually.

Living in Texas if you don't go to HEB or Walmart you pretty much have to resort to dollar general or some type dollar store. Both HEB and Walmart are as liberal as can be. So what does a person do?

Well, ya gotta eat… Sounds like these chains have done a fine job of putting others out of business.
I find myself going to stores I don’t care for because the pickings are slim.

Amazon sells food on line.  Canned and dry goods.  However, Jeff Bezos owns The Washington Post, a liberal newspaper.  He did go the them and told them to tone down the anti-Trump and anti-Musk stuff.

We have a Kroger and Aldi (which bought out Wynn-Dixie), as well as a Walmart and Sam's.  There are several in the Walmart family who own shares.  Are they all liberal?  Most of their junk is made in China now anyways.  I hate Chinese stuff, it is cheap.  Chinese stainless steel stuff rusts.  Good stainless does not have iron in it, mostly nickle and chrome.

Kroger is reasonable and has things that Walmart doesn't carry.

The Aldi I go to is right across the street from the Walmart. Found out years ago, most of their store brand stuff is name brand with their label. Couple years back, picked up a can of Cambells soup, and the Aldi brand, Chef's Cupboard, both tomato. The cans where identical stamps with just a label change. Almost 1/2 the price. Millions of dollars are needed to pay those TV ads.

Most Aldi’s products are good and much cheaper. Going today as I’m about out of tomato paste and yellow mustard. More then likely I’ll drop at least $50 while there :(

Can't make stainless steel, or any steel, without iron.
