I suspect that if I were able to decipher the BBB in its entirety, I'd agree with Musk. I suspect it's loaded down with useless pork just to get it to pass, and its raising the debt ceiling like 4.5 trillion dollars. $:-\$

I can understand Musk's frustration. He saves the government billions with DOGE, and Trump and friends want to raise the limit. This would be like mom and dad telling their college kid. Hey, thanks for making a payment on your credit card we gave you for college. It's just under max, we're going to call the bank and tell them to raise the limit another $2,000 so you can spend more! Really???

Musk calls a Spade a Spade. Can not blame him at all for that. He was "hired" as the New Sheriff to find and eliminate government waste, corruption, and fat. Guess he should have started in the House and Senate.

Now a big hunk of junk bill, the BBB, likely loaded with Democrap and Repubnican fat and waste, is about to be ratified and signed into law by President Trump.

Musk is rightly unhappy with that. Musk should call out Trump. What is Trump's thinking seven or eight steps ahead?

Trump ran the debt up pretty good his 1st term. He tries to justify it this time with his BBB but, the fact is, hes only gonna be president for another 3 1/2 years, and the debt will be there long after he leaves office.

Don't recall DOGE target figure, but they haven't got anywhere close to 2 trillion. I THINK Trumps business sense is you have to spend money to make money, but in 3 1/2 years know one knows who is gonna be runnin the show.

I also think folks living off a 401K could be living pretty skinny after the 2028 election.

Musk said he could probably cut $1 trillion to begin with, and up to $2 trillion later. Well, he was on the right track, but he rubbed some in congress or somewhere the wrong way cutting their pork. USAid was really bad, then people over 115 years old still getting social security, and most "living" in foreign countries. Then Medicare and Medicaid fraud. Bad defense budget contracts. Treasury cutting checks without stating what they were for. Lots of fraud and corruption. Obviously, Republicans are involved as well as Democrats. Must stated a short while ago about starting a new political party. He has the money to do it.

Trump talked about cutting Musk's contracts. Well, Musk stated a couple of months ago that Tesla is fine now on it's own and he didn't think they needed the tax credits anymore. Then SpaceX launches astronauts, space station supplies, national defense satellites, and weather satellites, as well as their own Starlink satellites. NASA needs SpaceX more than people know. He was the lowest cost provider and is reusing his rockets thus saving the government tons of money. He can easily launch offshore as well as from land. He can always move his factories to an Island country like the Bahamas or even Austrailia. As far as Tesla, they are the most American made car on the road. From batteries made in Nevada to cars and Trucks made in Texas.

Musk said the bill was full of usless pork and didn't make the cuts he suggested. Trump took in personally. So they are slugging it out on X and Truthsocial. Oh, and Musk has over 200 million followers on X.

Musk has taken the fall and his company has taken the physical and financial abuse for Trump's decision to investigate waste, fraud, and corruption within
our federal government. The Left, about half of the voters in this country, should rise to stop this turn of the tide against Musk.

EVERYBODY benefits when the ship is charted on the right course as quickly and economically as is possible. Sit back. Enjoy the ride. We ain't seen nothin' yet. Where is MY chunk of the taxes I paid that have been rescued from waste distribution? When do I get those returned to me?

Who is funding the rioters and protesters? It is all for visual effect and the FNN's use to push the Democrat agenda (whatever that might be as we don't know and can't tell from their constant bloviating against Trump).

Musk hast Asperges a milder form of Autism. His world is more black and white than everyone else's. His solution to the economy is simply quit spending money on stupid stuff. He doesn't understand that politicians are for the most part, lawyers that have never ran a business but, want to tell you how to run yours.

If the bill was loaded with pork I would think there would be some democrats willing to vote for it, but it appears there isn't. Musk in DOGE said a couple of months back that Tesla didn't need the tax credits anymore. This is because he knew the other car makers needed them. Thus he would continue to have an almost monopoly on electric vehicle sales. This is not what ticked off Musk. His DOGE cuts were not codified into law, and they still put money in the budget for continuing the pork spending that he recommended cutting. All this hard work for nothing is what ticked him off.

Now, if Musk really wanted to mess things up, maybe this. Come out and say he's going to start working with one of the 3 major diesel engine company's to start plans on a small diesel engine that could get 70+ miles to the gallon. If VW could make one 20 years ago that got almost 50 miles to the gallon, what can they do now with the technology we have. Fuel price's coming down, bet he'd sell a bunch. Enough to make Trump flinch!!

I don't think it matters at this point.

Trump hired Musk to reduce the size and waste in government, and then endorses a budget bill that increases the size and debt of the government.

You think Musk might feel like he's just wasting his time?
