When you take money to perform sex acts with the person paying you then you are by definition a whore not a victim. None of the girls he paid to have sex with him and others were less than 14 years old. At that age you know what you are doing when you take a guy's money and have sex with him.

Surely, a grown man...middle age or more, whether a politician, predator, preacher or prince, should automatically know that he has no business utilizing a teenager for his devious pleasure.

I think the word in most cases is promiscuity. Since the 60s sex has become more and more prevalent in early teens.
Many young women are rabid about their right to abort/kill their babies. Epstien I believe is a separate issue. Jmo

Which state? Remember, each state is sovereign and enacts it's own laws.
When I was policing in Atlanta, the age of consent was 14. It is now 16.
Post War of Northern Aggression many states followed English Common Law and the age of marriageability was 10 yoa.
During the late 20th Century the politicians started looking for another "Crisis" to promote themselves with and stumbled upon "teen age Pregnancy."  And what does a politician do when faced with a (perceived) crisis?  Enact laws...

I read some statistics. 

In 1960 90% of teens graduated high school never having sex.  By 1970 it was 90% of teens had sex by the time they graduated high school. 

Girls average getting married in 1960 at 19.  Boys 21.  By 1970's getting married was well into their 20's.  Now more people live together than get married even with children.  One main reason, government benefits for mothers with children, like Medicaid and welfare, depending on the mothers income. 

Some of the problem was the government causing the problems by the mid-1960's.  Another was business and industry needing more workers in the 1960's and pushed women to work or go to college.  This created children being raised by child care services instead of the mother before school. 

Lots of things went downhill in the 1960's. 

Another was first making being gay ok.  Then they started pushing the trans mess.  Now today there seems to be no morality in very many people.  So much evil has taken place and people have been indoctrinated to accept it.

I've had an Investigator I work with make the same argument, because under Virginia statutes if the "victim" is 13 or over and has consented it is not rape.  But, it's still a crime.  If 13 or 14, the crime is carnal knowledge of a child, and if 15 thru 17, the crime is contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  To my knowledge, in most states it would be statutory rape or some version thereof.

   My other half is a beautician and clothes, make-up, hair color and hair-do can remove or ADD a large number years to girls/women if they so choose.

A minor who is floozied up, looking for action, should not be capable of having a dude charged with statutory rape, if consensual; -  violent rape, the dude should be executed for raping a minor.

 Complicated issue. Everyone grows up-mature's- at different ages. At 14 some of these girls were thinking of having a good time, make money and be in the spotlight. Don't understand the consequences of their actions at that age. Where were any of their parents? Trump kicked Epstein out of his country club when somebody made a complaint about Epstein trying to pick up a young girl there. She had good parents. The 14 year olds I feel sorry for, bad circumstance's, or bad/no parents. The ones I see at 30, with 2-3 kids, usually mixed race, and wonder why they can't find a ''good'' man! That's a whore!!
