I'll be darned

About two weeks ago I found myself logged out of the site on my computer for some reason. I didn't log out so have no idea of why but I was. Password I had written down no longer worked either so I did the forgotten password thing-------multiple times and each time I was told a notice was sent to my e-mail account. Evidently they are traveling by pack mule as I have never received any yet. I e-mailed GB at the address given and was told no account existed, same deal with Matt.

Right now I am logged on to a motel's wi-fi and tried GBO with my old ipad and there I am, still logged in so ya'll aren't rid of me yet.

Something Hinky going on for sure. I never got any e-mail from you and I doubt Matt did either. Matt rarely ever checks his e-mail. I didn't send you any such reply.

If I had gotten an e-mail from you I'd have fixed it for you. Are you sure the e-mail address you have on file is a current one? If not then, no matter how many times you request a reset you can't get the new password. But honestly, I'm not sure that reset stuff even works.

GB, I couldn't send either you or Matt an e-mail because hotmail which I use said both addresses which I copied right off the header on the website did not exist. I tried each twice with the same result. I tried the forgotten pass word thing multiple times and each time it told me a link was sent to my e-mail address none of which any ever arrived. I also tried opening a new account with a different user name and I was told another user had an account from that e-mail address and I couldn't open another.

I thought I was done with GBO until I fired up my ipad which I seldom every turn on since I really don't like to use it.

Are you sure it was the reloaded site and not the other site?  I've clicked the wrong link a couple times.

.I just tried to log onto the GBO form, and got message "The requested forum could not be found" Strange indeed. No problem with GBO reloaded . I never go to the new site anyway.

I had the same thing happen to me on a couple of other sites. I re-booted and then it worked.  Scammers i guess.
