   Yes violent crime is up, and Minneapolis city council is about to vote on disbanding the police.  Let them go..and hire a fresh, young, spoiled batch of sociology majors to head up their proposed "Public Safety" department.

     Perhaps if a few rich peoples social worker kids get smacked..they may change their tune a bit !

      ....But aren't the police already called the "public safety department" ?

There are always (maybe not always) a few levelheaded conservatives among the most radical leftists, but Minneapolis population is indicative of its city council.
They are getting what they voted for.
