:D Hi,

Looking for some information on a couple of Sako rifles, esp. the year of production.

1st is a Deluxe Vixen serial number 806280 in 222 Rem.

2nd is a Model lll (roman numerals) serial number 931503 in 22-250.

Is there a site on wich the dates of production would be available?

I spent quite a bit of time trying to find info on the same thing with no luck at all.  Emailded and then called  Berreta with no luck on email and when I talked to them by phone they did not know anything before when they bought out Sako. I finally got a hold of  Sako in Finland and got an answer in a short time.  Good luck, I will be checking to see how you find your answers.

As far as I know there is no place on the web which has manufacture date listings. If you go to msn groups there is a sako collectors club which has many serious sako collectors posting on it. I'm sure they can probably help you as some of them have a sako reference books which have dates in them . Good luck 8) sgn
