It will not grow into war; as one of the comments said, this is all bru-ha-ha because of coming elections.

A new war would be more costly to both sides.

We don't have Ronald Regan and Maggie Thatcher anymore and the USA and UK no longer have the will to fight.
So, they can take the Falklands with water pistols and BB guns.
