I have to admit that this was the hardest year for me to be anything resembling thrilled about Christmas.  I should be more thankful but it's hard to be positive for the future for oh so many reasons...

Spent Christmas with Linda's family in the Texas Panhandle. It's cold! Got 400 miles to do today to get back home, and start the packing process back up.
It was a good early Christmas, I just have a lot to do, with a lot of dread stirred in.
Merry Christmas to all.

Merry CHRISTmas to all.

I've been in a lot of pain this entire month due to carpal tunnel. I still am in a lot of pain and am having to type this using two fingers not two hands so very slow.

But the surgery is  done and the stitches come out the 29th. I hope soon after that the pain gets less and I soon have use of my left hand again.

Merry Christmas to one and all.

Four (4) Masses without a choir were attended in this week of Christmas (and a one-half hour Christmas Choir Cantata performed), three (3) Masses without a choir to attend this coming weekend, and another six (6) Masses without a choir to attend through the 2021 New Year's weekend before I and my spouse, who is the Music Director for the local Catholic Church, will be ready to take a long winter's nap.  She works EVERY weekend and EACH and EVERY HOLIDAY playing the piano and organ in support of the music for Mass.

I am her biggest fan.  Where she goes I go.  I step up and in where she needs me - and I like it.  I run the Audio Visual system when I am not the Cantor or singing in the choir (with current Diocese restrictions - there is very little that the choir is allowed to do).

CHRIST in Christmas is prominent in our home.
