Its amazing to me how many people on the left still think the biggest threat to national security is in the Middle East, and fully expect that if Mr. Biden does indeed become POTUS, that we will send a few more thousand young Americans to die in pointless conflicts in the sandbox, with no clear objective, and no actual goal, while we appease China financially, and give away the pacific to them, as we did until 2016. I further expect Biden will follow the Obama protocol and pay off Iran, and bow to the Saud family even though they've been backing the Yemeni and Somali terrorists we've been fighting in the Red Sea area.
Russia has actually been "cooperative" in blocking China, and while not regarding the US as allies, at least as a strong counter presence in the Pacific which made everyone in that region, to include Russia, a little bit safer from the Chinese hegemony. If we reverse course in this election, Russia will have to protect their own interests and may not do so in a way that works to our benefit.
