As I recall, it was back in the 1990s, when Jesse Jackson suggested that the government take over our retirement accounts and "invest" them to benefit government give away programs.

  BTW:  It is also the communist design, to take land from the people.  First the communists in Russia, limited the Kulaks (peasant farmers) to 8 acres of land.  Then, when they discovered that those kulaks could still profit a tiny sum from the 8 acres, they could not allow that!  ..So, the commies took the 8 acres away also.  All farm land went into the "collective"..
