Now I did a search 1960's Bubble Gum and instead up came a bunch of hippie, net's words not mine songs.
This one was on the air the year I graduated and was written by her influenced by her trip to Woodstock. The video is something some one created recently for the song, but fits her reason the song was written.

Bob wrote this song about Joan of Arc. Then asked his girlfriend Patty to sing it for him.
They are still together, Bob Dylan is not dead, he is 78 years old.

Jackson Browne was losing his voice. So he asked his friend Linda Ronstadt to please sing this song for him.
Linda was busy with the Eagles, but she did it anyway.

You mean Bobby Zimmerman, he was raised 167 miles north of here in Hibbing, Mn. 8)
He played in Minn. for the first time in over two decades last year, going to Mankato and not the Twin Cities.
I am not a concert person but I wish I had gone to that one.

I never could see what he saw in Patty. But then, what did John Lennon see in Yoko Ono?

This is one of the few images of a young Smith where she is still plain looking but not bad:

But these are the types you see most often so she is known for:

Linda Ronstadt is a close family friend. And she has helped a lot of bands get started through her agent and
record label.

I was listening to Easy Listening channel on cable (elevator music) when Campbell's Lineman for the County came on.

That song always, and I mean always, makes me think of the them from Midnight Cowboy, not sure why but a version of the theme from Midnight Cowboy was playing at a drugstore diner my Mom and Dad took me to after they picked me after being in the hospital for 3 weeks after more than half-killing my self in a car accident.

That this song sticks in my head is odd as I have zero memory from the day I left the house, I remember leaving the house, till we were in that restaurant.

I had a hard time find it as it was not the harmonica theme song but a cover, in which the violins always stuck in my head, well this is the one from that day.A good/bad memory, the drug store is gone, the entire area is different, and my life totally changed after that accident.  :o

This virus paranoia has really made a point to me of how much one can miss the little things you do, because you cannot do them, that you do simply because you can.

Weekend drive for no point other than to do them, have been going away for years now and I missed them then, now some times it really gets to me.

I added this one because it came after the above. 8)
