I had to look this one up! I didn't have a clue who she was.
I seldom watch TV any more, and when I do it's to get the local weather or Local News.
What is with these people making statements and apologizing for them? Don't say it unless you mean it, and if that's the way you feel about something stick to your guns.
Growing up in the south, I would have to apologize a million times for using so called racial slurs and especially the dreaded N word. About half the kids I played with were Black kids (Then called Colored). They called themselves the N word and also had racial words for us White kids. We all did it, and have nothing to be ashamed of or to apologize for. We're all human and act accordingly. Sometimes stupidly, and sometimes more intelligent manner.
What does this woman making a silly statement or using a politically taboo word have to do with cooking a Southern dish.People need to get a life. It's apparent some don't have enough to do to keep themselves occupied. I have never watched her, and never would after hearing her cry and bawl like a whupped hound. Evidently her audience is the same type of cry baby, do gooders that watch the OOpre Windfreek show.
The only cooking show host that was ever worth their salt was the old Cajun.....Justin Wilson. "I guarantee" OK! rants over and I didn't use the N word a single time. If I did...........I apologize
