Darting hogs
« on: February 25, 2004, 05:36:42 AM »
There is a ranch near me with a bad pig problem and they wont allow the pigs to be killed. They are willing to hire me to dart or trap the pigs for removal. Can i get a dart gun, and is it effective? It is very important the pigs survive. Thanks-Tad

Here's one, $375.   You need drugs and a veterinaian also for that though, I think.

ask if they allow dogs.  Hog hunters with trained dogs, make the catch and remove the hogs alive.  I have been on a few hunts that way, and we took all hogs out alive, except one.
