Remember: the Canadian jihadists who were recently caught discussed poisoning the water supply (and the air) to murder as many as 100,000 people, and poisoning the water supply of a major city has long been bandied about among jihadis as a consummation devoutly to be wished.

BELCHERTOWN (CBS) – Shortly after midnight Tuesday, seven people were caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir. State Police say the five men and two women are from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, and “cited their education and career interests” for being in the area. The men told police they were chemical engineers and recent college graduates.
The Quabbin, in Belchertown, is one of the country’s largest man-made public water supplies. Boston’s drinking water comes from the Quabbin and the Wachusett Reservoirs.
 
State Police say there were no warrants or advisories on any of the individuals and “there was no evidence that the seven were committing any crime beyond the trespassing.”
All seven were allowed to leave and will be summonsed to court for trespassing. The FBI is investigating and routine checks of public water supplies have been increased following the incident....

While your statement is true it doesn not provide an adequate excuse for the 7 who were sneaking around a major city's water supply in the wee dark hours.

The thing that always amazes me about this sort of thing is that it's published as if it has no context. We recently have a couple of young guys blow up the boston marathon, and a train bombing plot foiled in Canada. Nevermind other recent history  where young muslims were involved. At the very least, I would expect any group of muslims contemplating a walk in the woods at night in a restricted area to have enough circumspection to realize that they might be under greater scrutiny if they were to get caught.
