3/4 scale #1 trail
« on: May 18, 2013, 09:31:17 AM »
I am helping someone with a 3/4 scale #1 trail and side cheeks for a 3/4 scale 1841 six pounder from Dixie Gun Works..
They provided the wood.  I am to rough cut, glue, and cut to final size a trail and side cheeks.
They are doing  the axle and metal work themselves.  He is also drilling all holes.
Here is the trail at 61" long.  I will not cut the inset where it sits on the axle until he gives me axle straps so I am sure of the size.
I also will not cut the cheeks until I get cheek straps from him.
You can never have enough clamps. ;D ;D
