Hi all,  I am looking for information on stainless 7mm-08 rifles.  I have read great things about the 7mm-08.  What are your favorites?

I have a t-3 lite stainless synthetic 7mm-08. I like it alot. It is very comfortable to shoot and will wack a deer quick. It weighs in at 7 pounds loaded . My hunting partner has a Ruger #1 7mm-08 stainless laminated, it is also a great shooter.

I have read some negatives on reloading for t-3's, but mine shoots factory Hornady 139g sst's great, sub 1" moa. My partner's R#1 shoots winchester ballistic tips touching at 100 yards. I think you will find most 7mm-08's are great shooters if you cross your t's and dot your I's.

My 15 year old son has a Rem 700LSS Mountain rifle stainless/laminated.  It is also a MOA shooter.  Very nice to carry and nice looking.  We did have a trigger job done on it but otherwise it was a shooter out of the box.

My current one is a Remington Model 700 LSS Mtn. Rifle. Love it. This thing stays at or under an inch with most all factory and reloads. Both of the Hornady Light Magnum loads shoot well under an inch at 100 yards in it with the original 139 BTSP shading the newer SST load by a hair. It has become hunting load of choice even over my hand loads.

Previously I had a Remington Model 7 SS with the 20" barrel and plastic stock. Nice light weight rifle that hit hard and was super accurate. The first hand load I tried in it turned in a 3/8" group at 100 yards and it shot MOA or near it with several hand loads and factory loads. In it I mostly hunted with my reloads but used some Hornady light mags also as it really liked them. Only reason I let this one go is I really like laminated wood stocks and really don't like plastic stocks.

Both are great rifles and I can highly recommend both for an SS rifle in 7-08. They are now also making the Model 7 SS with a laminated stock and it is what I was searching for but my dealer couldn't locate one at that time and when he got the LSS Mtn. Rifle I jumped on it as I already had one in .30-06 and knew I liked it.

Thanks for the information.

I saw on the Tikka website that they have a T3 Laminated Stainless Rifle.  It lists that it is available in various calibers including the 7mm-08.  Does anyone know anything about them?
