Remington ammo question
« on: March 01, 2013, 09:38:57 AM »
I am sorting through my 30/06 ammo inventory and notice I have 3 different boxes of  Remington 150 grain core- loct pointed soft point boxes.  1 box says simply cort- loct, one box says express core- loct, and newest  box says whitetail pro core-loct.  I am wondering if there is any difference and if poi would be the same.  Can anyone explain?

Ammo of same name and bullet type and weight with different lot numbers ( lot numbers are often on the box on or under the flap) will often shoot to different points of aim. So it would be safe to say maybe in your case. Sometimes it won't matter as the difference is slight and the range may be short. But it's worth checking if range is a consideration.
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
